The Insomniac!
Sleepness nights, working constantly on the group project … and discovering once again; there’s never enough time! even after you don’t sleep for two days! It’s funny after you fight the sleep and become insomniac , how your brain functions! You feel everything in slow motion which is actually quite nice … but well, there’s a catch! your thinking process becomes very slow too! so you may end up staring at the monitor for half an hour without having any idea what you are supposed to do! one might say if that’s the case, why not just get some sleep and get back to work? I think getting ‘some’ sleep is a high risk under the time sensitive situations! and that ‘some’ could easily become sleeping till the deadline … What we need is a change in our genes! to remove the need for the sleep completely!
The project that I’m working on is coming from one of delusional ideas! A man with a question mark for his head .. and it’s been very challenging on many different aspects., from working with 7 people each with a completely different point of view to realizing how much I still don’t have clue about in compositing! I don’t think we can achieve a very high level of VFX and compositing but hopefully we will make a piece that separates the viewer from this world and takes them to a surreal environment when they can join the main character’s journey, although the ending is dark like my other films; the ultimate ending! or the ultimate begining?!
