Project: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 (2011)
My Role: Dimensionalisation Roto Lead, Digital Paint & Roto Artist
Company: Framestore

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 was the very first project I worked on after joining Framestore. I remember I was watching the first Harry Potter movie with my brother in 2001 and being enchanted by it! I could not imagine that one day I work on it in my wildest dreams so being a part of the final chapter of this beloved franchise was a special treat for me. I also got my first ever movie credit on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 which made this experience even more memorable for me.

I started working as a Paint & Roto artist on this project but my role quickly evolved and I ended up leading the dimensionalisation roto working closely with Conrad Olson, one of the compositors who I learned a lot from, only a couple of months after joining the company. I also managed to complete a few stereo compositing shots towards the end of the project. Overall Harry Potter was a fantastic experience for me and provided me with an opportunity to make myself known and develop new skills.
