The meaning

A small dictionary of color, rebuilt from your day.

Color isn't decorative. It's a record — of weather, mood, food, light. Pally reads what's there and gives you the names back. The four below are the colors of the Pally logo — the palette the app was born from.

Terracotta

The color of warmth held in clay. Of rooftops in the south, of a mug at sunset, of skin after a long walk.

For the love of users, and of design.

Most of the work in Pally is work you'll never notice — and that's the point.

Every control should give you exactly what you need, and quietly take care of the rest. You stay in charge of every detail; Pally handles the fiddly parts so you never have to fight it. Here are some of the small things we obsessed over.

Captions that place themselves

Auto and Split captions size and position themselves under your photo. Dates fill in from when each photo was taken, and the preview zooms in on your words while you type.

Labels that know their limits

The color-value size slider stops right before labels would collide — and grows when you give the swatches more room. On top and bottom rows the values can run vertically, and they move above a bottom row on their own. Numbers line up in neat columns.

Presets that respect the photo

A preset brings your whole look, but the colors always come fresh from the new photo. Dates follow each photo, and trims fit each clip.

A picker that remembers

It reopens right where you left off, with Last 3 Days, Recently Added and your albums one tap away — no endless scrolling.

Change the padding and your photo stays centered. Extra space below only appears when you ask for it — or when a caption needs it.

Double-tap any slider to send it home. Crop and trim each have their own Reset, and nothing is ever more than a tap from where it started.

Text turns white on dark backgrounds on its own. Labels matched to a pale swatch get a brightness slider, so nothing disappears into white.

How does the free trial work?

Tap Start 7-Day Free Trial, sign in with your Apple ID, confirm. Pally Pro unlocks instantly. Cancel any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you'll never be charged.

Where are my palettes stored?

Pally doesn't keep a library. Each palette is generated from your photo the moment you open it, and exists only while you're working with it. When you export, the finished image goes to your Photos or wherever you choose to share it — entirely under your control. There is no Pally server.

Does Pally collect analytics?

No third-party trackers, no advertising SDKs. We get crash reports through Apple's built-in TestFlight / App Store mechanism only if you opted in at the system level.

Can I export at full resolution?

Pally Pro exports at your photo's source resolution (up to 4000 px), and videos up to 2160 px. Free Pally exports a 2048 px square optimized for sharing.

Why does Pally ask to access my photos?

So it can show your library in its own picker and reopen right where you left off. Pally only reads the photos and videos you open, everything stays on your device, and you can choose "Limited Access" to share just the ones you pick.

How do I delete my account?

There is no account to delete — Pally has no sign-up. Uninstalling the app removes everything.
